The High 5 Initiative is a local 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization dedicated to the preservation of our natural environment. We believe in our collective ability as a species to not only identify but solve the biggest problems facing our planet today.
So far we have removed 31,225 pounds of trash from rivers and riparian areas leading to the Chesapeake Bay and collected over 550,000 plastic containers at our participating collection centers that would have otherwise made it to the landfill.
The High 5 Initiative, Inc. is a locally based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to practicing, promoting, and enabling the conservation of nature.
This year, for Earth Month, The High 5 Initiative is asking for your help to reach our goal of $5,000 to help us cover the costs of The High 5 Cleanup Initiative! Consider making a donation today to help us reach our goal of 5k!
Whether you donate $5 or $500, every little bit helps.
The High 5 Initiative is very excited to be back at St. Mary Anne's Garden Market in North East, MD on May 3rd & 4th! We will be selling many native perennials to raise funds for our cleanup initiative, as well as, recruiting volunteers. By planting native, we support local wildlife and help reduce storm water runoff, helping to keep our streams, rivers and bay clean.
For more information on any of the cleanups, go to our Cleanup Initiative page.
We are very excited to announce our partnership with Beltway Companies! We are extremely grateful to them for their generous corporate donation and to those that have volunteered at our cleanups. We look forward to working together towards a healthier Chesapeake Bay!
